Ramadan, considered as the “month of blessing” is the 9th month of Islamic calendar. It is believed that during the month of Ramadan, Allah revealed the first verses of the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam. The origins of Ramadan draw significantly from the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr, frequently translated as "the Night of Power."



Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. The festival Eid is the first and only day in the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not permitted to fast, which includes special prayers and meals with friends and relatives and gifts are often exchanged.

Be there on time at Rajiv Chowk metro station to enjoy an astonishing journey of Ramadan food delights.
